Despite having lost in court, and having agreed to a payment plan with the plaintiff's collection agency, TightLip Entertainment's would-be publisher has now declared that the initial $100 payment he made on the account several months ago would be his last.
Writing on
his blog, Olney declares "My paying that scumbag CHEAT Scott Reed an initial $100.00 dollars on the damages he 'claimed' was a legal maneuver. Scott Reed is not as talented as he'd like everyone to believe. Frankly, he's more talented as a conniving cheat." He returns to the subject later and states "And don't forget -- I said Scott Reed would never get a dime thereafter, and he will not."
In addition to repeatedly taunting and insulting Mr. Reed, Olney again claims that he is continuing to solicit work for his yet-to-be-launched line of comics, and is planning another in the uniformly disastrous comic book conventions he has sporadically perpetrated on the Upstate New York area. Numerous guests and vendors of the previous Mighty Mini-Con events remain uncompensated for their expenses in violation of the agreements made by Olney in securing their appearance at the events. Many freelancers were likewise stiffed after writing for his defunct websites.
Despite the many outstanding debts, Olney takes great delight in boasting of extravagant spending for vacations, collectibles, and other indulgences, thumbing his nose at his creditors.
